Volunteers are the foundation of every successful event, they are the unsung heroes of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race and we quite simply couldn’t make this event happen without their support.
We are on the hunt for exceptional volunteers to assist with the delivery of the iconic event with over 900 volunteer shifts to be filled across the four event days (Thurs 25th, Fri 26th, Sat 27th & Sun 28th Jan) – now is the time to grab a family member, grab a mate, grab your neighbour and sign up today!
This year, we have a particular need for course marshals and field of play marshals. In these roles a volunteer will typically be positioned somewhere along the course which includes one of Victoria’s most iconic and scenic locations ‘the Great Ocean Road’ – you’ll have the best seats in the house for one of Australia’s greatest elite cycling events.
Incentives:
As a volunteer, you’ll not only get to be part of this amazing international sporting event, but all volunteers go home with an event t-shirt, a cap, and hopefully some wonderful memories! For those that are looking to break into the events industry, volunteering at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is a great way to work alongside our industry experts, network and meet new people.
We are also thrilled to offer all those who volunteer a discount to enter the TAC People’s Ride on Saturday 27th January.
