The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2023 returned to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on October 20-22, 2023.
Due to the forecast for strong winds and rain on Sunday, the 27-lap race originally schedule for Sunday had been brought forward to Saturday, while the Saturday Sprint Race had been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon, weather permitting.
Although overall attendance numbers were down due to the weather, the estimated attendance of 32,450 on the Saturday, was the highest Saturday attendance since 2012 when Casey Stone last raced.
Come rain, hail or shine, the Spark team consisting of over 50 corporate hosts and customer service staff persevered with a smile, supporting the Australian Grand Prix Corporation at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix by providing excellent service in the face of attendance variances, schedule changes and extreme weather changes.
A truly outstanding Australian MotoGP with the weather prompting several schedule changes, our dedicated Spark event staff showcased exceptional service and boundless energy, proving that we always go above and beyond for our clients, no matter how trying times can get.
Greer Dutton, Senior Manager – Customer Operations, Australian Formula One Grand Prix Corporation said “We had such great feedback on the customer service staff this year”, as the positive feedback commencing rolling in.
