More than 440,000 fans attended the 2023 Formula One Australian Grand Prix weekend – a new record for the history making event which was the first to be ‘red flagged’ (paused) three times, after a series of crashes and mechanical failures.
The entire Spark Event Group team were on the ground for the event, including 700+ workforce staff each day, ensuring the 440,000 people were provided the best in customer service at the pinnacle of major events.
Among the workforce staff were positions in patron services, hosts, supervisors, ticket scanners, spruikers and more. Additionally, Spark filled a number of roles in the lead up to the event, including area managers, forklift drivers, operations crew, and stocktake staff to name a few.
As the largest weekend sporting event in Australian history, Spark Event Group are proud of the workforce recruited for the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, with outstanding service being delivered daily.
